Although perhaps a bit humble in its rendering! this cross section of landing gear
componant assemblies show how in its construction to size of molding the castings which on a giant airplane spacehip would
be immence in reality kinda gives an indication of construction,( in little peices), and then asembled with internal holding
bolts. This idea reduces the blast furneces required to construct the fittings required, and its this idea which little Tinker
got the idea from working on an old huey helicopter for the Iowa National guard getting a one to one vertical vibration
out of it in which he had to work with shim's,( as they are called), and actualy one of the idea's which brought the giant
airplane spaceship idea out from the classification of science fiction to relality! This was in little Tinkers mind in 1976
and it was about then when he drove his old 64 chevy to Blue Grass, Ia. and looked at the size and nature of the quarry there at
the time just down the road from Buffalo Ia. where we hoped to pay for the spaceship airplane constructing airships with modern
materials such as composites.
