Ok so cool we are publishing WW2 started on the 1st of September 1939 with the German army's invasion of Poland! The United
States did not enter WW2 until the attack on Pearl Harbor 1941 by the Japanese! the Japanese had been fighting in China and
Korea and Indonesia though using American equipment through the Lend Lease Act! And in the case of the famous flying
Tigers pilot's who were civilian but previously trained in the Army Air Corp's flew for the Nationalist Chinese Government
using P-40's and other aircraft! If a AVG pilot the American volunteer group the name for the flying Tiger's shot down a Japanese
plane they got a $500.00 dollar bonus good money back in those days! The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk first flew on 14 October
1938 retired in 1958 from brazil and was produced between 1939-1944 13,738 were built at $44,892 (1944)!
Trying to describe war and its budgetary measure watching the History channel the other day the U.S. went from less then a
dozen overseas military instalations before the war to by 1945 over 30,000! 78 million people died it was reported!
