Ok so cool we are publishing! And our title page came up in its proper place
this time!
Ok so today is May 21st 2014 and it is a Wednesday
not too long ago in other words not ancient history many banks that had connection to the exchanges were closed on this day
through the week to catch up on the paper work before the day of electronic calculators and computers and stuff!
And the Airplane template codex code today is the XB-21 built by North American aviation in Inglewood, California and it was
a mid wing aircraft that used a turbo-supercharge on it's engines to give better performance!
This aircraft although it was not the real Dragon ( which was the Douglas B-23 developed out of the Douglas XB-22 tomorrow
is May 22nd 2014) was known as the Dragon and work on it started on early 1936 and first flew on December 22nd 1936!
The company designation was originally called the NA-21 and as the aircraft was operated it became the XB-21! It was in competition
with the Douglas B-18 Bolo! After several research flights it was intended to have electrical gun turrets and they turned
out to be slower and wind through the slits in the turrets affected it operation! After several design changes the company
program number was changed to the NA-39! The XB-21 cost (there was only one built) $122,000 dollars compared to the $64,000
for the B-18 Douglas Bolo! Bur Army procurement officers were impressed with it's performance enough to order 5 XB-21's
designated the YB-21 but they were never built and only one XB21 was built and the other YB-21's were
never delivered! the one XB-21 few on and served as a research aircraft and as the program NA21 was changed to the NA-39 it
was later changed to the NA-40 and that aircraft became the North American B-25 Mitchell medium bomber and became one of the
mainstay's for the USAAF's medium bomber fleet in WW2! the B-25 was the aircraft used by Jimmy Doolittle in his
raid against the Japanese capital a few month's after Pearl Harbor!
Tomorrow is May
22nd 2014 Which is a Thursday Thor's Day in Saxon Year of the Horse! The aircraft template codex code number for today is
the XB-22 which was supposed to be a much improved B-18 Bolo (Douglas) but despite a 60% increase with more powerful engines
the design proved unsatisfactory and had to be completely redesigned!
The XB-22 went
on to become the real aircraft designated the Dragon and that was the B-23 Dragon ( Douglas) and Friday is the 23rd of May
2014! The B-23 Dragon was first flown on 27 July 1939 about the time that NAZI German army intel discovered the AVA radio
manufacturing company in Warsaw, Poland working on electrical calculating machine to help them read German army and German
State department code from the codex machine known as enigma!
Only 38 B-23 ( Douglas),Dragons
were built and several of them were re-designated as transports called the UC-67 Howard Hughes flew one as an executive transport!
