Ok so cool we are publishing! Well Monday Moon's day December 29th 2014 we have the Boeing
B-29 on our Aircraft codex code the B-29 super fortress was the first and only aircraft to drop an atomic bomb in combat which
happened over Japan in August 1945 the Russians built an unlicensed copy of the B-29 in 1947 called the TU-4 Bull and it dropped
an atomic bomb in practice! The B-29 first flew on 21 September 1942 and it was a very large an advanced aircraft which was
pressurized and had radar controlled firing system for it's gun turrents! 3,970 aircraft units were built at $639,188 dollars
each!
For December the 30th 2014 we have the B-24 Liberator which the early
models were sold as the LB-30 LB for land bomber! it was built by Consolidated aircraft of San Diego California and known
inside the company as the model 32! It was the most produced bomber in history at over 18,400 units at $297,627 each about
4.77 million in today's dollars half were built by the Ford Motor company which had a special factory called Willow Run that
produced one B-24 an hour in 1944!
