Ok so cool we are publishing! the Martin B-10 won the Collier Trophy for aircraft design
in 1932 it was the first all metal bomber in the Army air corps and was faster then most pursuit aircraft at the time
the re engine B-14 pictured here! In 1934 the Army decided to try and build an aircraft that could fly 5000 miles and drop
bombs and came up with the XB-15 Boeing only one was built and during the war it was re-designated a cargo aircraft and used
to carry government workers in and out of the Caribbian ocean islands and the Panama Canal zone to the southern city of Atlanta
designated the C-105 and named Grand pappy the fuselage is said to buried at the end of the runway in what once was a swamp
at the airport in Panama!
After this design the XB-15 boeing bomber they built thousands
of B-17's during the war! Its interesting to note that the North American X-15 rocket plane falls on the 15th and we are writing
this on the week end! the day we like to talk about airplanes and spaceships The up to that moment in engineering aircraft
design that could be a prototype spaceship design!
It had a galley a bunkbed rest
area and a toilet on board and was a versatile work horse in moving government employees in and around the Carribean area
during the war! the X-15 Rocket plane was built by North American which was or is a part of GM it was bought by Pratt and
Whitney or at least its rocket engine the L-99 Rocketdyn and Tinker thinks this is interesting as that is owned by United
Technologies and the interesting thing about the 4000 mph spaceplane is its throttle-able rocket engine that was splashed
across the newspapers in the 60's only three of them were built!
From what we can gather the
old aircraft industry of the 30's 40's and 50's have pretty much disappeard Companies like Convair built civilian jet liners
and launched the first rocket ship into orbit in the early 60's the company became General Dynamics! Looking up old Nazi transport
aircraft design we find out was a long time ago and the people familiar with the project are dead! Just being able to discuss
the fact shows much of europes pre war aviation was government subsidized and was destroyed during the war! Kurt Tank left
Germany for India after the war having been cleared of any war crimes and designed an Indian's first jet fighter and
then later returned to Germany after working abroad! He died in 1983 and on June the 5th the day before D-day in Europe he
was employed with MBB after that it became Air Bus in the late 1990's!
Since the
late 90's the aircraft industry has changed greatly in Europe Dornier Fairchild was taken over by an Israeli defense
contractor after it was bought by something with an Israeli address known as M-7 they purchased assets in Texas! We think
that M is the 13th letter in the English allfabate and there have been 7 different wars in the Israeli Palastine area!
Thus the group M-7!
