In Asia just before his India flight an giant airbus aircraft had its Rolls Royce engine
blow up on it about 15 minutes after takeoff and shrapnel among other things to go wrong ripped through the wings and
part of its fuel tanks and flight control system and five piolots battled to keep the aircraft in its flying mode as it battled
computer problems and warning lights and landed just feet short of the end of the runway. This airbus was carrying over 500
passengers. A Russian ailiner crashed in Moscow killing two people and there was a crash of a Russian aid flight in Pakistan
crashing killing all on board. This week end due to the blizzard conditions flights in the U.S. have been delayed and one
airliner overshot the runway. In spain theres been an air controler walk out and several airports were shut down as we look
at how the euorpean contagon is taking hold of the market visability.
If you go down the page list of this web site you cand see where we took an engineering
book out of the library and put some of the pictures and partial explination of "Structures", about flex and flight control
of one of the first monoplane designs in WW1.
Ok so its December the 6th 2010 and it is cold here in south Florida as there is
a freeze warning tonight and as we talk about airplanes and computers and spaceships and stuff we find out the weather has
alot to do with stuff. There is talk going on all over about the economy both micro and macro in poor visability Greenspan
said on Sqauwk box corporations or businesses tend to be very concervative with the money they make. The goings on in the
goverment are the extension of unemployment benefits and taxes and tax cuts as one well known politician said or called it
a bunch of chicken crap. Then he said he'd try not to use that referance again. So little Tinkerbell doesn't know exactly what
to think and he is very cautious and has the sniffles too.
One of the aircrashes I was learning about a couple of years ago was the crash of
an airbus which had taken off from Rio an entered a line of thunderstorms in the tropic of Capricorn off the south american
coast. Newer airbus's have a computer that transmitts flight data information to a ground station in France or Germany. The
compsite wing flexing in the flight through the thunderstorms and navigating around the storms sent data to the ground
station untill it came apart in the air in the middle of the night. Headed toward Paris it was the time of the D-Day celebrations
and close to Bastille Day and Frances National vacation day when that aircraft crashed, a terrible situation as I had learned. In
the early 1990's that Col. Phiffer from the German side of the Battle of the Bulge who wrote a book about his experiance and
was a member of interpol the international police agency was killed in his house in France and his house torched it was
a tremedious setback to the police. Bastille Day in France is where french convicts get an early out of there sentences and
Phiffer had just finished his book on the Battle of the Bulge. This and the aircrash in over the atlantic touches
on the tremendious vaccum that the D-Day celebrations and an modern aircrash can have. At the same time here in Florida
a person who's father was in a tank battalion on the normandy beaches asked one of the computer crew if they could help him
order a patch through a veterans organization True story this and it happened just a couple of years ago.So in this modern
world of jet aircraft and memorial celebrations and National holidays mixed in with bad weather and an aircrash many things
can run confluent in a short period of time.Phiffer who was in the SS during the war was a leader in the interpol police
agency in Europe and was killed about the time of the war in Yogoslavia and the Balkans.
