Ok so cool we are publishing here at the top of the page is a picture of
the Ryan PT-16 over 1568 were built many of them fitted with machines guns on them and used against the Japanese in the Dutch
East Indies! T.Claude Ryan built Lindbergs plane that he flew the Atlantic in, in 1927, called the Spirit of St. Louis. Oddly
enough he died on September 11th 1982 ( 9/11)!
Next we have the Stearman Boeing
PT-17 of there were over 10,000 built(at $11,000 dollars each), used often as crop dusters after the war, many pilots
in the allied services were trained on PT-17's!
The next aircraft is the Boeing
B-17 flying fortress of which over 12,731 were built at a cost of $238,329 dollars in 1945 money! It first flew on 28 July
1935 one day after the 27th of July which is the date of the B-23 Dragon's first flight in 1939!
Next aircraft is the Douglas B-18 Bolo it first flew in April 1935 about 350 were built at a cost of $58,500 each many were
destroyed at Pearl Harbor and in the Philippines in 1941!
The next airplane
is the Fairchild PT-19 trainer 6,397 were produced and Fairchild later became Fairchild semi conductor which invented and
manufactured transistors they started silicon valley in California and in the 1960's they built Cameras for NASA which detected
meteor's and developed lunar cameras for the moon missions!
